Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how GabaNode Lab, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Idioma, our AI-powered language translation service ("Service"). By using Idioma, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address, organization name, and a hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.

Payment information. Billing is processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. We receive a Stripe Customer ID and subscription identifiers.

Usage data. We log the number of translation requests, languages requested, and approximate page sizes to calculate billing and enforce monthly spend caps. We do not store the content of pages you translate.

Automatically collected data. Our Cloudflare Worker processes requests and may log IP addresses, timestamps, and request metadata for rate limiting and security purposes. These logs are not retained beyond 30 days.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Idioma translation service
  • To calculate and process usage-based billing through Stripe
  • To enforce monthly spending caps you set
  • To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts)
  • To improve the quality and reliability of our service

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data to train AI models.

3. Translation Content

Page content submitted for translation is sent to Google Translate (via Google Cloud Translation API) and, when you use AI refinement features, to Anthropic's Claude API. Content is processed in transit and is not stored by us. Please review Google's and Anthropic's privacy policies for how they handle API data.

Do not submit sensitive personally identifiable information (Social Security numbers, medical records, financial account numbers) through the translation widget in production without reviewing the data handling practices of each upstream API provider.

4. Sharing of Information

We share information only with:

  • Stripe – for payment processing
  • Google Cloud – for translation processing
  • Anthropic – for AI refinement processing (when invoked)
  • Cloudflare – for edge request routing and security
  • Law enforcement or government authorities when required by law

5. Data Retention

Translation content is never stored. Page text and document content submitted for translation is processed in-transit by our upstream API providers (Google Translate, Anthropic Claude) and immediately discarded. We do not cache, log, or retain any translated or source content at rest.

Document OCR content is never stored. Scanned documents submitted for translation are processed for text extraction and immediately discarded. Only a cryptographic hash of the document is retained to serve cached translations of identical future submissions.

Account profile data (email, hashed password, organization name) is retained for the life of your account. You may request full deletion at any time by contacting us at accesstreec@gmail.com. Security audit logs are retained for 90 days. Usage counters for billing are retained for 13 months. Request logs in Cloudflare and Vercel are retained for 30 days.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures including TLS encryption in transit, hashed passwords (bcrypt), and JWT-based authentication. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel. No transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies and Local Storage

The Idioma widget uses browser localStorage to remember your selected language preference across page visits. No cross-site tracking cookies are set by Idioma. Our web application may use session cookies for authentication.

8. Children's Privacy

Idioma is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us immediately at accesstreec@gmail.com.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at accesstreec@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
